K-1st Grade

Schedule:

9-9:30am Family Hangout
9:30am-10am Community School Tefilah (with parents)
10am-12pm Class time including snack

There is a two year rotating curriculum:

• Even to odd years will be Jewish values and culture and holidays
• Odd to even years will  be Alef-Bet and Holidays
• In addition to art projects, students have art with Cara five times during the year
• They join Rachel for Israeli Culture every week
• They have music with Aaron approximately every other week
• They have “Big-Littles” programming with sixth  grade a few times a year.
• Starting in Kindergarten, during their first year of enrollment, students are “Consecrated” on Simchat Torah (Wednesday, October 23rd)
  when they celebrate the beginning of their formal Jewish education.
