6th Grade

Sunday Schedule:

9-9:30am Family Hangout
9:30am-10am Community School Tefilah (with parents)
10am-12pm Class time

• Students learn about what it means to become a Jewish adult through Tikkun Olam, Torah and being a Mensch.
• Families also  begin their B’nai Mitzvah process, which includes three family programs on Sundays in the Spring.
• In addition to in class art projects, students have art with Cara five times during the year
• They join Rachel for Israeli Culture every week
• They have music with Aaron approximately every other week
• They will participate in “Big-Littles” programming with K-1st Grade a few times a year.
• They will lead a class service on Friday, November 15, 2024
• Students continue weekday Hebrew classes on Wednesdays and are encouraged to participate in SMARTY.
